Get rid of junk food. Junk food is nothing more than empty calories, fat sugar, and other unhealthy junk. Get it out of the house and you wont be tempted
Plan for a lifestyle change. Dont think that this is going to happen overnight. You have to incorporate change slowly overtime if you want the new habits to stick. Remember, you didnt get here overnight and it will take a while for you to get where you want to be.
Get Enough of the 3 essential nutrients. Make sure that you are getting enough protein, carbohydrates and fats. You need all three to maintain a healthy body and burn fat.
Choose complex carbohydrates. Get your carbs from vegetables and whole grains instead of simple carbs that are in breads and most processed foods.
Drink enough water. You need at least 8 glasses of water to stay healthy. If you want to know how much you personally need, divide your weight in half and that is the amount of ounces of water you need. You then add 8 ounces more for every 20 minutes of physical activity you engage in.
Eat often. 6 small healthy meals will keep your digestive system in check as well as keeping your metabolism running in high gear.
