How To Increase Your Vertical Jump In 7 Days
No matter whether you’re playing basketball, football, volleyball, or even baseball, increasing your vertical jump is guaranteed to improve your game.
The best athletes today have great vertical jumping ability. Being able to jump higher than your opponents are sure to make you dominate the competition.
You can increase your vertical in as little as a week and within a month or two experience serious gains. The best way to do this is through exercises that train your body to jump.
Some obvious exercises that you may be familiar with are calf raises and squats. Both are very good for increasing your vertical leap, but there are others that work even better.
One such exercise is called single leg hopping. To do this exercise stand on one leg and push off with the standing leg, jumping forward and landing on the same leg. Single leg hopping is a really efficient exercise because it puts added weight on each leg and teaches the proper balance necessary
for jumping. Try doing one to two sets of at least 10 reps each. As you build more balance and strength, you can increase sets and repetitions.A second exercise that will teach you how to increase your vertical jump are tuck jumps. Simply stand straight and jump up grabbing both knees to the chest.
Remember to quickly jump back into position in a springy motion when both feet land. This builds the fibers in the ankles and calves that give you those quick bursts of speedy jumps needed to grab rebounds.
These are but two exercises that will increase your vertical in as little as 7 days. Learning to jump higher involves more than just exercises, there are also other factors that contribute to your jumping ability.
